November Flicker Box Review

My Flicker Box arrived yesterday!! I’ve been eagerly anticipating it for weeks now since I ordered it mid-October. I received and used a special blogger code on this box for review purposes.

I was excited about the candles before I even saw them because I could smell some delicious things coming from the box. The theme of the month is very fitting for November: Going to Grandma’s. Here’s what I got:

100% pure beeswax pillar candle in Honey Vanilla from Bluecorn Naturals. It smells really good, exactly like honey and vanilla! I haven’t lit it yet, but with it’s 40 hour burn time, I’m sure to get a lot of use out of it. I believe the price of this candle is about $16 if bought from the Bluecorn Naturals website.

This is the Baked Bread scented soy candle from The Burlap Bag. It’s in a nice glass jar and has a listed burn time of over 70 hours! When I first pulled this out, I thought it would either smell really nice or really gross. Thankfully, they got the scent delightfully right; it smells exactly like fresh baked, buttery bread! It’s also pretty subtle which is nice. I never would have picked out the scent myself, but I’m so glad they put it in the box so I would give it a try. This candle has a value of $14 on the Burlap Bag‘s website.

These little soy tealights are from Eco Candle Co. There’s a collection of five different scents: Autumn Walk, Oatmeal & Honey, Warm Vanilla, Pumpkin Latte, and Homesick. I haven’t figured out what kind of scent Homesick has yet, but Autumn Walk smells lovely! It’s fun to get a sampling of a lot of different kinds. According to the info card, each tealight burns for about 4 hours. This sampler sells for $10 on Eco Candle Co’s website.

There was also a pack of matches included, which I thought was a great touch.

I really like the candles in this box and can’t wait to try them all! I think they sent a good amount of candles and that it adds up to a good value. This month’s box comes to a total of about $40. This seems like a good deal to me, as Flicker Box subscriptions go for $34/month. I would love to get Flicker Box again. Correction to what I wrote earlier: Flicker Box does offer single month subscriptions! The first month is $25 and every month after that is $34. Thanks to Kristina, owner of Flicker Box, for pointing that out to me!

Go to Flicker Box’s website to subscribe for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year. To receive 10% off your subscription of 3 or more months, enter code FAF218 at checkout! If you love candles, I highly recommend this subscription!

Update: The Warm Vanilla tealight smells incredible! I think this set would make really great gifts this holiday season.
