Things I’m loving this week

I can’t believe this long week is over halfway done! The holiday on Tuesday threw me off. I’ve been tired out and looking forward to the weekend, but here are a few things that perked me up and got me this far.

Hurraw! Vata Lip Balm is my new favorite lip balm. It’s so great! I love the flavor (scent?) – almond cardamom rose. It’s really moisturizing and it has an Aryuvedic Dosha element to it. Check out their website for more info on that aspect. They have two other Dosha balms and a ton of other flavors! I’m looking to try out the Vanilla Bean flavor as well as the Moon Balm next, and I know a few people for whom these would make great stocking stuffers 🙂

I swapped out one of the dresses I got in my October Golden Tote for the Merrick Swing Dress by Cut & Sew last week and it was such a good trade! Sorry for the not-so-great picture below, but the blue of the dress is bright and pretty, and it’s a great background for statement jewelry. I’m hoping to finally be brave enough to wear my beaded necklace from Germany with it this weekend. The fabric is nice and thick and will transition well into winter with leggings and a coat or my Cut & Sew kimono!

As you can see in my review, I really liked my first Yogi Surprise box. They accidentally left the Golden Earth Chakra Oil out when they sent it to me, but they were kind enough to send it to me separately this week. I was really curious what chakra oil actually was, and it turns out it’s a cute, tiny rollerball vial of essential peppermint oil that you can keep in your pocket or purse. This one is supposed to promote energy, apparently, which I will have to test out. I love the smell and the size.

I love finding new products and companies in subscription boxes!

My buttery bread scented candle, as well as the warm vanilla tealight, from Flicker Box are so awesome! I’ve had them burning a lot this week and my room smells really great as a result. They’re really calming at the end of the day.

My bathrobe is the best. It’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made (thanks, TJ Maxx!) I’m sure it’s a completely non-natural fabric, but I don’t care because it’s soft like a cloud and really warm.
