Whole30 Chimichuri Sauce Recipe

I looooove this sauce! I made it as a marinade for steak and chicken last weekend and I made it again for Ben this weekend. I adapted this from the Whole30 book and doubled it because if you don’t make this much, you will wish that you had. I hear it freezes well.



1/2 cup red wine vinegar

1/2 cup lime (or lemon) juice

4-6 cloves garlic, minced

3 green onions, chopped

3 cups olive oil

1 bunch fresh, washed parsley

1 bunch fresh, washed cilantro

salt & pepper



Combine vinegar, lime juice, garlic, and green onions in a food processor until well blended.


Fun pink color from the vinegar

Slowly drizzle the olive oil in through the top of the food processor while it is running- this makes an emulsification.

Add the parsley, cilantro, and salt & pepper and mix until herbs pieces are chopped small and well integrated.


Enjoy on anything and everything!
